Garden of Life

My garden continually teaches me about the energy of life. It is amazing to hold seeds in my hand and know that each tiny capsule contains all of the unique components, capability and intrinsic wisdom for self-assembly. Each seed knows exactly what it is and how to grow itself into its full potential. This is the pure magic of life.

The elements and elementals join forces to create an environment that will nourish the seed....sending signals that will activate the self-assembly process. Earth, air, water, sunlight and ether provide wondrous service to each seed and plant. The elementals joyously assist in the care of all life in the garden. Bees, dragonflies, beetles and other flyers do their part in pollinating and tending the flowers and plants along with spiders, ants and other insects. The birds, squirrels, snakes, turtles and other wildlife know that they are all welcome here. They live, play, hunt for food and raise their young here. It is an honor to be part of it.

You can be a steward of land and life by creating natural habitat in your
own backyard and community. Put into practice your knowledge of sustainable and harmonious actions. Create your own colorful and fragrant garden with trees and plants that flow with the natural resources of the area where you live. When considering plants for your garden, learn about each plants sunlight, soil and water requirements. Give each plant the space it needs to grow freely to maturity. Include trees and flowering shrubs that will provide beauty and food for you and others. Also include trees and shrubs that will provide food and shelter for wildlife. If you provide these things and a water source for wildlife, you will be inviting many wonderful creatures into your garden.

Allow nature to take its course. What you may consider to be a pest, wildlife may see as a food source. Take this into consideration before spraying pesticides. Many pesticides kill beneficial insects and poison animal life that maintain harmony in your garden. Think Big Picture! Many universities, botanical gardens and wildlife centers provide excellent regional information on their websites to help you grow a garden...explore.

Enjoy the garden photos and feel free to copy them.
May they bring beauty and joy to your life.
